Responsible Gaming

This page sets out what this site can and cannot do about safer gambling, and points to where the organisations and the controls that matter actually sit.

Know What This Site Cannot Switch On For You

This site has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it. That means none of the tools people usually rely on to manage their gambling exist here, because there is nowhere on this build for them to live.

  • Deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are all settings inside an operator account. This site has no account system, so it cannot switch one of these on, check whether one is active, or enforce one.
  • Nobody's age is verified here, and no gambling takes place on this site. Any age check happens only at the destination once you follow an operator link.
  • These pages carry no advertising network and no behavioural profiling. Nothing here is targeted at a reader based on prior risky behaviour, because no such tracking is present.

Every operator listing on this site ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. That is also true of any account-level control — it is set up, viewed and changed at the destination, not here.

Use the Independent Help Organisations Linked on Every Page

Every page of this site, including this one, links to three independent gambling-help organisations: begambleaware.org, gamblingtherapy.org and gamcare.org.uk. These are the only non-commercial outbound links anywhere on the site. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow, and open in a separate tab on the organisation's own site. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.

  • begambleaware.org
  • gamblingtherapy.org
  • gamcare.org.uk

If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, these are the links on this site worth using — they sit alongside the operator listings on every page, not hidden away on a single one.

Apply Practical Limits Before You Start

The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing, because age limits matter before anything else. Beyond that, a few practical habits reduce harm regardless of where you play.

  • Decide the amount before you start and treat it as already spent. Deciding in advance, while you're calm, avoids decisions made mid-session when the pressure to recover a loss is strongest.
  • Never chase a loss. Increasing a stake to win back what's gone usually increases the size of the loss rather than reversing it.
  • Keep gambling out of money you've borrowed or need for something else. Money earmarked for rent, bills or debt repayment carries consequences beyond the game itself if it's lost.
  • Take breaks during a session, not just after one. A short pause gives you a chance to notice whether you're still deciding, or just continuing.
  • Involve someone else early, before it stops being entertainment. A second perspective catches patterns that are hard to see from inside a losing run.

None of this replaces the account-level controls that sit at the destination once you follow an operator link. Those controls, and the checks behind them, belong there — this page can only point toward them and toward the independent organisations listed above.
